Winter Wedding

Hi,

The current winter weather provided a beautiful backdrop for the wedding of Aisling and Pat on Saturday December 18th.  The wedding took place in Ballylongford, County Kerry and the reception was at The Devon Inn Hotel, Templeglantine, County Limerick.  With freezing temperatures and roads like glass, plenty of time was allocated for travelling.  

When we arrived at the hotel the open fire was calling to us, but photos with the snow was the priority and we got some beautiful images with the bridal party under the trees near the hotel.  Despite the cold, the girls put on a great show and never shivered once.  We then headed for the fire, thawed out, and took some more photos with the couple and their parents.  

When I was finished I had the hour and a half drive home that would usually take 35 minutes, but we had a great day and that was all that mattered.

Best of luck to Aisling and Pat for a wonderful happy life together.

Congratulations Siobhan And Damien

After all the rain, Saturday the 20th of November dawned bright and DRY for Siobhan Moriarty and Damien Galvin's wedding.  The ceremony was held at St. Peter and Pauls Church in Ballyduff, Co. Kerry and the reception was at The Earl Of Desmond Hotel, Tralee. We were lucky enough to get to the beach in Ballybunion for some shots with the bridal party and the tide was out allowing us plenty room to work.  I really enjoyed the day as they are a lovely couple to work with and I wish them every happiness in their life together.

Congratulations Causeway Students

Hi,

I am amazed how quickly a year has passed and it is debs dance season again.  I recently photographed the class from Causeway Comprehensive School in Kerry who enjoyed their night at Ballyroe Heights Hotel.  The bad weather certainly didn't dampen their spirits and a great night was had by all.  The photographs are posted on my website for the students to view and I will be busy printing for them next week.
I wish them every success in the future.

SWPP Gold For Monochrome July 2010

Hi,

I am delighted to have received another Gold Award from the Society Of Wedding And Portrait Photographers.  My photograph of Gateshead Millenium Bridge has received the award for monochrome in the July 2010 competition.  I was visiting the area for a week in June and was busy with my cameras.  I must edit some more shots from the trip and post them here.

Online Ordering Available for Landscape Images

Hi,

I have now added an online ordering facility to my website  for landscape images.  A range of sizes are available for online purchase and payment may be made through PayPal using either a PayPal account or a credit card.  Delivery for prints is €5 within Ireland and €10 worldwide regardless of print quantity ordered.
Many thanks to Liam Byrne of Onsight in Limerick for adding this functionality in super quick time.
I intend to add more images to the landscape section as I shoot them to provide more choice to clients.
